The 2024 J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge Series was a year to remember. As the largest corporate running event in the world, this 3.5-mile (5.6-kilometer) series brought together over 220,000 participants from 6,900 companies across 16 cities and eight countries. It wasn’t just a race—it was a movement that celebrated community, connection, and collective impact on a global scale.

Each event combines fitness, friendly competition, and post-race festivities, fostering a spirit of collaboration and community. Open to all — from casual walkers to CEOs — the series embraces inclusivity and teamwork, making health and shared experiences a priority across every level of an organization. Multiply that by almost 7,000 teams, and you’re not just building bonds. You’re sparking something bigger.

Multiple sell-out locations, including Johannesburg, Frankfurt, Sydney, London and New York City.
Hong Kong made its debut as the 16th series location, welcoming 4,750 participants from 150 companies and further expanding the Series’ impact in the APAC market.

Donated to LoveXpress, to foster inclusion and empowerment for individuals with autism.

London
As a standout location of the series, London’s two-evening race in Battersea Park, drew an impressive 27,097 participants. Known for its competitive edge, the London event achieved the fastest average finish time globally, reinforcing its reputation as one of the most energetic stops on the tour.
Buenos Aires
In just its third year, Buenos Aires continued its trajectory as a rapidly growing location, boasting a 31% increase in participation from 2023. The event’s vibrant atmosphere and strong company turnout demonstrated the city’s enthusiastic embrace of the event.
Philadelphia
Reimagined its race experience by partnering with Chase retail to host multiple on-site touchpoints including gear check, finisher bags, cheer zones and photo opportunities. Stateside sponsored the “Challenge Bar”, while City Fitness offered a warm-up session and cool down station for participants.
Sydney
In its 22nd year, Sydney topped the previous record of 10,129 in 2019 by 17% with a total of 11,873 entries from 538 companies, held in the picturesque Centennial Park.

The 2024 Series highlighted the resilience and camaraderie of global business communities, reminding us that the values of teamwork, health, and social impact are enduring and universal.
The 2025 J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge promises to build on this momentum, kicking off in Johannesburg, South Africa, on March 13. With a full calendar of events announced, the Series will once again bring the world’s workplaces together in a global celebration of corporate teamwork, human connection and community.
