When comedian and avid runner Kevin Hart took to Twitter, he issued an open challenge: “Who’s running a 5K with me—right now?”
His community didn’t just listen—they laced up and showed up.
To help launch Nike’s partnership with Kevin in 2015, we amplified this movement, turning spontaneous runs across 12 cities into a global phenomenon. “Come Run With Us” became more than a tagline—it became a call to action that resonated worldwide.
Starting in San Francisco, the journey took us to Sydney, New York, Chicago, LA, and Toronto. In Boston, we partnered with Uber for an unprecedented activation: runners could request Kevin as their personal pacer directly through the app. The demand was so overwhelming it sent Uber into crisis mode.
To extend the experience beyond those on the ground, we live-streamed the run on Kevin’s official Facebook page—Nike’s first-ever Facebook Live event—giving fans around the world a front-row seat. It also became one of the first large-scale activations on Facebook’s live-streaming platform.
